Lidl GB has submitted exciting new proposals for a discount foodstore off Tinever Road, to serve Chivenor, Braunton, and the surrounding areas.
A new Lidl store would serve the growing local community, provide access to our high quality and affordable products, and create around 40 new local jobs. The existing car park would be relocated within the site to provide a revised 35 space long-stay car park. This would be owned and managed by the Local Authority.
A planning application has been submitted to North Devon Council for determination. Supporters during consultation mentioned increased and affordable shopping choice, reducing the need to travel out of area for their regular shop, and the creation of up to 40 new jobs.
The most effective way to help ensure Lidl can be approved is to submit your views to the Council.
